Overview
Hydro-Probe is a robust microwave moisture sensor designed for installation in bins, silos, and conveyors in process control environments. With 25 measurements per second and built-in features such as signal processing and averaging, Hydro-Probe accurately measures the moisture content of material flowing over its ceramic surface.
Hydronix Hydro-Com software simplifies remote configuration, calibration, diagnostics, and firmware updates. The linear output allows direct integration with control systems using industry-standard interfaces.

Typical Installation
Hydro-Probe offers various installation options to suit all types of hoppers and conveyor applications. This ensures that the sensor measures the most representative sample of the material.
Connectivity
The sensor features two analog outputs, digital RS485 connections, and configurable digital inputs/outputs, making it easy to integrate into a control system. It uses the Hydro-Com communication protocol for read/write access to sensor parameters and values. Ethernet and USB interfaces are also available.
